These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SafeCaller, provided by Synvertix Technologies Private Limited. By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and verify a mobile number you own. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. What the Services do

SafeCaller shows caller identity, spam-risk signals and business verification to help you decide about calls. Signals are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. “Verified” means identity checks were completed — it does not guarantee that a caller is safe. Always use your own judgement; never share OTPs, PINs or bank details on a call.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not submit false, malicious or coordinated spam reports.
• Do not scrape, bulk-query, reverse-engineer or resell data from the Services.
• Do not impersonate any person or business, or claim a number you do not own.
• Do not use the Services for harassment, stalking or any unlawful purpose.

We may limit, suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and reports from such accounts may be discounted.

4. Reports, claims & appeals

Reports you submit may be used, in aggregated and weighted form, to calculate spam risk. Anyone whose number is labelled may claim it and appeal. Moderators decide appeals based on evidence; decisions are logged.

5. Business accounts

Businesses must provide accurate KYC information and may only list numbers they control. Paid plans provide profile and analytics tools; payment never changes verification decisions or spam-risk scores. Verification may be withdrawn if information becomes inaccurate or misuse is detected.

7. Availability & call safety

We design the app to “fail open”: if our service is slow or unavailable, your calls ring normally. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Emergency numbers are never blocked.

8. Intellectual property

The SafeCaller name, logo, software and content belong to Synvertix Technologies Private Limited. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on caller signals. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the city of our registered office have jurisdiction.
